PROJECT RS-24
The result that gets spat out when some kids get their hands onto money, time, and tools.
This car started life as a blob-eye Impreza RS, and stayed that way for quite some time. Eventually, the owner, Will, started to search for ways to make some more power. This lead us to turbo the original EJ25 NA block, without much success.
After blowing 2 turbos and struggling with getting the fueling right, we bit the bullet and ordered a Haltech Elite 2500. This being our third attempt with the EJ, we were hopeful and had the car running well and with a decent amount of power at 8psi, although only for it to spin a bearing 48 hours after we got it done.
Admittedly, this was a low point for everyone within the group. Whether it was money, time, tools or even advice, everyone had a piece in this car.
After much debate, it was decided we were just gonna send it and feed it a new motor, but not an EJ. So here we are, RS-24. An Impreza RS chassis mixed with the beating heart of a Honda Accord. The K24A3, but with a little extra spice in the way of a Pulsar 3071r.
We are stoked to officialy announce our partnerhsip with Haltech. Their products mixed with a screaming Honda 4 cylinder are obvious signs of a rapid car.
